At early January was released Show Me The Meaning video. In my opinion it's a really sad video, the first time I watched it I couldn't haddle it and I started to cry. On the video each guy remember a moment in his life when he felt lonely. Altough it's a sad video it's really beautiful and well done. My fave part is the end of the video in when they all walk together along the street.
The single went on sale more than a month ago. It includes SMTM and two songs: I'll Be There For You (which was already in the IWITW single) y You Wrote The Book On Love (which is in the asian version of Millennium)

On 17th January at the AMA's, the Boys won the ward for Best Group, just Howie with his sister Pollyanna attended to the ceremony the rest of the guys couldn't go.

On 11th February started the last leg of the US tour in PA. That day Nick surprised everybody with his no less surprising new hairdo. This pic was taking some days before at a MTV interview they did. I personally like it A LOT, it took me about a week or so to get use to it 'cos I LOVED his beautiful long hair! but anyway he looks so good! Who is gorgeous is gorgeous all da way! :)

On 23th February in LA the 42nd edition of the Grammy's took place. The Boys were nominated in 5 categories, unfortunately they didn't won in none of 'em. I nmy opinion they deserved at least to have won 2. The winner of the night was Carlos Santana with 8 grammy's, I have nothing against him, but BSB deserved a Grammy!
The Boys did two AMAZING performances!!. The first was some kind of tribute to other groups, it was a remix of four songs: How Deep Is Your Love? (Bee Gees), Papa Was A Rolling Stone (The Temptations), I'll Make Love To You (Boyz II Men) and Show Me The Meaning (by you know who :) It was very beautiful and their voices as always armonized perfectly.
In the second performance they sang with Elton John, Philadelphia Freedom.

At the end of February in an interview they did for MTV. Kev and Brian announced their engagements with their respectives girlfriends. Kev knew his gf, Kristin Willits, for 7 years, he met her when he worked at Disney 'cos she aslo worked there. Now, she's one of Cher's dancers.
Brian's gf, known by all, is Leighanne Wallace. She's an actress, right now she's working in her film 'Olive Juice' in which she plays the leading role.
I've seen both gf in person. I saw Leighanne in Zaragoza '98 and I saw Kristin also in Zaragoza '98 and this year in San Sebastian. She's very nice.

More than a month ago the BSB became comic super heroes, Stan Lee and wonderfull ideas from Nick have made the Backstreet Project possible.
The story beggins when a spaceship crash landed next to the stadium where they were performing, the Boys raced to the rescue of a beautiful alien creature who emerged from the crashed starship, it was visitor is on a dire mission to protect the Earth from an approaching alien invasion. The alien gives each of the boys an enchanted amulet embedded with mystic crystals. When they wear the amulets their DNA gets twisted by a virtual genetic cyclone that gives each of them astonishing

The 15th March, the last leg of the US tour will be over. Then the Boys will take a break to work in the new album which's planned to be out around October! There aren't still any news confirmed about an South american tour.
AJ will do a small tour as Johnny Suede (altought the surname it's going to change, 'cos if not he could have problems with the copyright). The first concert that Johnny (aka AJ ;) did was on 9th January in the House of Blues of Orlando. He performed with his own band, also Mindi was there. She will go on this little tour with him.

In the US, I think just in South American by now. The HBO channel is broadcasting the Spanish PPV concert, I dunno if there is pay per view too or not. I hope this will be on the US ppv too, cos I think is a really GREAT concert. Actually it's my fave video. I love it a lot, and it really cool to watch it 'cos I was there. You can even see me in the video, no so clearly but anyway.

I have an idea running my head... I wanna share it with ya to see what you guys think about it. Ok, I would like to make a section called 'Larger Than Life'. It would be all about us, the fans. What I want to do is that you all send me a picture of yourselves. I think it's a cool idea, what do you think? I would like that you all contribute to this kinda project.
